Product Overview: P-Style GrayBox Enclosure
The GrayBox P-Style Enclosure is the ideal choice for applications requiring a compact yet robust housing solution. This all-metal enclosure features a rugged extruded frame, recessed front panel, flush rear panel, and removable top cover. Available from stock in 36 standard sizes, offering two heights (one and two standard rack units), three widths (full, half, and quarter rack), and six depths from 6 to 16 inches in two-inch increments for versatile configuration. Each P-Style Enclosure is composed of six precision-machined, interchangeable parts: two panels, two sides, and two covers. Panels and sides feature modified I-beam cross sections that assemble to form a rigid structural frame. The bottom cover is captured on all sides and recessed to allow mounting components with up to a size 6 (M3.5) pan head screw, eliminating the need for countersinking. The recessed top cover slides in from the rear to allow easy access to the interior.
